The Engineering Firm Impicciatore adapted steel structures of Guido Biondi football stadium in Lanciano in accordance with the Serie B safety standards.
The engineering firm designed:
- Two steel safety stairways which are the escape routes for the tribune;
- Escape route enlargement;
- Balustrade substitution in the first stand of the main tribune.
Through the analysis of simple contruction solution, we were able to reduce both fabrication time in the factory and assembly on the construction site. This allowed Virtus Lanciano to play their home matches in a short time. The work is the result of the harmony between the new structures and the old reinforced concrete building built in the 1960.
