Impicciatore Engineering firm assisted with the construction of an international airport steel structure in Cameroon creating the workshop drawings.

We work with designers and engineering plants developing the workshop drawings that are essential to create each structures elements. We support construction companies during construction with frequent on site inspections.

The knowledge of metal carpentry and steel elements manufacturing and assembly represents a point of strength during the design and the construction of a steel structure.

The steel roof – 480 tons of steel extended on 5500 square meters – constists of a framework covered by aluminium sheet panels. Each panel is 80 mm thick. The steel roofing is completely insulated thanks to the use  of mineral wool with M1 classification of reaction to fire and double layered termac sealing.

The steel roofing of the airport is completely galvanized in order to protect it from the corrosion for many years.
